Advanced Infusion & Wellness Center Relocates to The Offices at Cranbrook
Advanced Infusion & Wellness Center (AIWC) has relocated to The Offices at Cranbrook, located at 10111 E 21st. North, Suite 315, Wichita, KS 67206.
Originally opened in 2018, the center outgrew its former location and selected Cranbrook for its expanded space with more treatment rooms, upgraded amenities, and increased visibility. The new location provides them with seven treatment rooms, a medication/lab room, and meeting spaces.
“We are in a growth pattern and needed to expand our clinic space,” said Jason Burk, DNAP, APRN, CRNA, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, one of three co-owners of AIWC. “In addition, we hope to expand into additional wellness services in the near future.”
The Offices at Cranbrook are owned and operated by Wichita-based commercial real estate developer, Occidental Management. Charlie King, Sales and Leasing Manager for Occidental represented the landlord. Adam Clements of Builders, Inc., represented AIWC.
AIWC was the first all-inclusive outpatient center in the Wichita area to provide ketamine infusions for the treatment of many psychiatric and chronic pain conditions to qualified clients, including treatment-resistant depression.
AIWC also currently offers intravenous fluid hydration therapy, SpravatoTM, wellness visits (excluding immunizations), sports physicals, peptide therapies for general health, vitamin infusions, and treatment for minor disease conditions, including migraine treatment. They also offer COVID-19 rapid tests. AIWC does not prescribe opioids or benzodiazepines through any of its wellness or disease management services and does not provide vaccines.
For co-owner Sonia Slaba, DNAP, APRN, CRNA, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, being able to provide a treatment-resistant depression alternative is a passion. It’s also personal. Slaba’s brother suffered from depression throughout his life and ultimately died by suicide.
“If ketamine infusions had been available for treating depression at that time, perhaps it could have helped my brother,” said Slaba. “Now, seeing people get better and knowing we helped to be a part of that is very fulfilling.”
Burk added, “Clients come to us at a pivotal time in their lives. They’ve already tried all the traditional pathways and we get to be a part of their transition to a better place. There’s nothing more rewarding than that.”
AIWC accepts clients 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday by appointment. Appointments can be made by calling AIWC at 877-393-2492 or visiting their website at aiwc.net

AIWC was founded in 2018 by Sonia Slaba, Jason Burk, and Dean Heideman DNAP, CRNA, NSPM-C. Slaba and Burk are Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Family Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Heideman is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Family Nurse Practitioner and will be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in August. He is also certified in non-surgical pain management. The AIWC clinic also has on staff psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Sara Friesen, and registered nurse, Karen Jacobs.
