East Wichita Salon Owner Opens West Side Spa: Joyful Willow Salon

Amanda Lee, owner of Amanda Lee Studio, is opening a second location in Northwest Wichita, dedicated fully to spa treatments. Joyful Willow Spa is taking over the With Love & Company space in Northwest Centre, which is located at 8414 W 13th St N Suite 200, Wichita, KS 67212.
The space is managed by Occidental Management, and Charlie King, sales and leasing manager, handled the transition for Lee.
The spa will offer services including facials, massages, brows, waxing, lashes, and spray tans. Services will be by appointment only during the hours of 10am-8pm Monday-Thursday, and 10am-5pm Friday-Saturday.
Lee says the spa location fills a niche not yet offered in West Wichita. “It’s a unique opportunity for spa professionals to be their own boss and rent their own space, yet also be a part of an open, collaborative and supportive team environment,” she explained. “They can set their own hours while also receiving certain benefits, including marketing support, and be a part of a larger, encouraging community.”
Grand Opening Celebration on March 26th from 2-5 p.m.
Joyful Willow Spa will be hosting a Grand Opening on Sunday, March 26 from 2-5 p.m., with activities and specials that include:

Spa Booth Space Available for Rent & Move-in Specials
Multiple private room options and open space rental opportunities are available at Joyful Willow Spa. Space rent ranges from $150-$210 a week and includes many perks, including food and beverages provided for guests, Bluetooth headphones for guests with disposable ear covers, humidifiers for front room location, marketing support, towels, blankets and sheets, and laundry and trash service onsite.
Additional benefits include leave time where rent is not due for a specified period time during maternity leave, bereavement, rental anniversary dates, and more.
During the month of April, Lee is offering move-in specials:
- A $200 Target or Amazon gift card (renter’s choice) for room rental
- First two weeks’ rent free for front room rental
“I am so grateful for the community within this industry and in Wichita who have allowed me to grow within a safe, supportive environment, and this spa is just one more way I can help give back,” said Lee. “I want to provide a space where other stylists can be their own boss and thrive in running their own businesses.”
Lee, a Wichita native and veteran hair stylist, took an 8-year hiatus to begin raising a family. She returned to the industry in 2018 and then opened Amanda Lee Studio in 2020. Amanda Lee Studio is a hair salon located in Wichita’s Riverside area at 819 W 13th St, with multiple stylists offering services that include haircuts and color and hair extension services, as well as facial and skin spa services coming this April.
